Falconry…

Wednesday, March 7th, 2012

I got to spend the first beautiful spring day outside chasing hawks with falconer Carolyn Standlee-Hanson, of Phoenix Fire Falconry, her husband Richard, and friend Barbara O’Brien (Barbara O’Brien Photography). What a fantastic way to usher in spring. Thank you to all involved. It was a splendid day. Here are some of the day’s favorites.

FOXY

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

Today I took a break from the Owls and went to shoot a den of fox kits. I didn’t even realize that the weather was so severe until I heard the sirens. Apparently It didn’t affect me, or the foxes.
